Jeffrey Spitz, the principal and founder of Spitz Law Group, has been providing outstanding legal service to clients for over 30 years. Equally at home in the courtroom and the boardroom, Mr. Spitz serves his clients as both lead trial counsel and a true “counselor at law.” Mr. Spitz has obtained jury verdicts, negotiated settlements and handled business deals for multiple millions of dollars, including a jury verdict in excess of $9 million and international licensing arrangements in the tens of millions. Mr. Spitz holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University and the University of California, where he was an Order of the Coif graduate of the law school at Davis. Mr. Spitz has served as a temporary judge and landlord-tenant settlement officer in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, a long-time member of the Board of Directors of LA Theatreworks and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Youth Law Center.

JILL A. COSSMAN
For over 35 years, Jill A. Cossman has represented entrepreneurial and mid-size companies in purchasing and selling business assets, as well as debt and equity financing in connection with such transactions. Ms. Cossman served as General Counsel for a company engaged in in-home sales of linens and accessories in connection with its formation and a multi-million dollar equity infusion. Ms. Cossman has a wealth of experience in entity formations, mergers and dissolutions.
Ms. Cossman holds degrees from Connecticut College and the University of Southern California Law Center. She is President and a Member of the Board of Directors of Women’s Leadership Council, an organization of senior-ranking women committed to making a positive contribution to the next generation of women leaders in the community. She is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Counsel for Justice.
Ms. Cossman is an avid reader of mystery and historical fiction, a multiple champion fantasy football player and a gourmet cook and foodie.
Christina Jacobs has more than 30 years’ experience representing closely held corporations and individuals in a wide variety of litigation. Among the issues Ms. Jacobs has addressed are all manner of real estate, partnership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract, business torts, estate and probate related disputes and family law matters. Ms. Jacobs has also participated in appellate litigation in the state and federal courts, including in the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Jacobs holds degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans. Ms. Jacobs has been a member of the Pacific Palisades Community Council for many years and is currently serving as Secretary. She has formerly served as Council Chair, Chair Emeritus, Council Vice-Chair and Chair of the Land Use Committee. She is also active in several Citywide organizations, including the Westside Regional Alliance of Councils.
Ms. Jacobs is an avid reader, traveler, theatre-goer and enthusiast of visual, musical and culinary arts.
